500ml can. Pours gold with a thin head. Aroma is alcohol and corn. Taste doesn’t have much to start. Alcohol and caramel in the finish.

Can at home with Lyoli. Pours honey-gold with a thin, white head. Sugary malt aroma, some ripe (rotten?) fruits, too. Very sweet flavor, some bready malts, white and slightly toasted sugar, notes of alcohol (beerlike and rubbing). Medium bodied with full, explosive carbonation. Hot finish with distinct boozy burn, some sugars faint bread, not much bitterness, maybe hints of earth. As far as ’strong pale lagers’ go, this beer is slightly above average.

500ml can from local corner shop on way home from work. Now I do have some history with this beer. I spent a couple of nights as a teenager out of my face on this stuff. So it’s either going to make me sick or it’s going to bring back some Proustian memories. Clear gold, thin white head. Syrupy strong alcohol aroma with touch of washing up lemon. Again, it’s not that bad. It’s cold enough. It’s ok. Some bit of burn. But I’ve had a lot worst. As I say, some burn. It does get you drunk though. I had this whilst watching My Cousin Vinnie for the first time.

Can 500ml. @ Fastelavnssmagning, Ulfborg.Clear light yellow color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is light moderate apple, dry apple, svovl, artificial. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average duration, svovl and artificial. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20100220]
