Bottle from Sourced Market St Pancras and drunk at home. Clear gold lasting white head. Some grassy hop aroma. Touch of peach fruit. As a slightly interesting slightly hoppy slightly fruity golden ale. Clean touch of caramel on aroma. Decent carbonation and mouthfeel. Some bite on the finish. OK.

Bottle at Chriso Tasting, thanks to Chriso, 04/04/15. Orange/golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is citric sherbets, orange pith, straw, earthy hop presence. Taste comprises caramel malt, bitter orange, light bread, straw, faint spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok but no great for the style.

28th March 2015: cask pint at the brewery. Decent stuff. Black body, the brewery is dark inside and it was difficult to gauge the true colour, it’s dark though honest. The head was a beige wisp and collar. Malts, over roasted malts and semi-sweet in nature rule the brew from start to finish. Mild fruity notes mid-sip but mostly maltiness in big waves.

Bottle from Hopology, Nottingham. Deep dark almost black with no head. Poverty light aroma with caramel and fruity malt. Taste is a touch watery, with a fruity sweetness.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2014 - London. Pours dark brown with a creamy light tan head. The nose has notes of minerals, light roasted malts and cocoa. Light-medium sweet flavor with some old leather, dried dark fruits, earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate sweetness in the finish with light dried dark fruits, bitter chocolate. OK.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2014 - London. Pours clear yellow with a white froth head. The nose holds simple pale malts, light minerals, straw. Light sweet flavor with a bit of lemon hop character, some chlorine, smokey minerals. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Lightly sweet on the finish with some fairly juicy citrus, more lemon. Not bad.
