330ml bottle from BottleDog. Slightly cloudy mahogany coloured body. Fawn coloured lacing-head. Earth and brown malty aromas. Taste of dark chocolate, caramel and nuts. Malty bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied. Satisfying (hotel room, London 27.09.2014).

330ml bottle from BottleDog. Pours a pearl white head that stayed well over a hazy, orange coloured body. Good amount of lacing down the glassware. Tropical fruits on the nose. Fresh fruity taste of apricot and orange. Fruit bitterness to the ending. Well rounded on the palate. Likable (hotel room, London 27.09.2014).

330ml bottle from Borough Wines, Stoke Newington. Pours clear amber with medium white head. Pine aroma. Taste is predominantly grapefruit and lime with a fervent bitterness. Pronounced hoppiness til the end. Alright.

330ml bottle from Borough Wines, Stoke Newington. Pours a dark mahogany with fast receding tan head. Aroma of dark fruits. Taste is light malts with dark fruits, an earthy bitterness and a little rye bread. An enjoyable bitter.

Bottle from Sourced Market St Pancras and drunk at home. Clear amber colour lasting very thick off white head. Toffee aroma. Some earthy hops. Some bitterness on the finish. The hoppiness builds. Still too hard and toffeeish in the flavour for me and there is a burntness about it. OK but still a bit uncultured one feels. Toast. Hops. Bitterness. Toffee. Ok.

Cask at the Brewery taproom on 13th Sep 2014. Poured an amber colour with a good white crown. Bitter hops rule the nose and taste with citrus fruits to the fore. It actually went down very well and I enjoyed my half pint sat in the sun outside the factory unit it was brewed in.

Cask at the Wild Card Brewery taproom on Saturday 13th Sep 2014. Sadly this was not in very good condition and poured almost completely flat with no head at all on the malty dark mahogany body, just a thin collar of a tanned wisp showing. Malty with chocolate notes, semi-sweet but scored poorly because of the condition, a pity.

The first and best beer at the brewery tap room on Saturday 13th Sep 2014. I had all three of their beers, all half-pints and I enjoyed this the most. Light amber with a white head, hop lead to the aroma and taste, semi-bitter and certainly not a ’Pale Lager’ as styled on here (15th Sep 2014), this as it’s name suggests, is in fact a Pale Ale. Malts do come out to play but this is a hoppy Pale and tasty too.

Bottle @ home. Clear mahogany red color, medium sized beige head. Aroma is malts, lightly smoke, a hint of red fruit. Taste malts, lightly raisins, bitter, lightly earthy, caramel, biscuits, a slight hint of spices. Average body, fizzy carbonation. Meh.
