330 ml can. Unclear dark golden, creamy head. Resin, spicy grassy hops, lemon peel, some honey and caramel. Hoppy bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry hoppy bitter finish with a malty backbone. Nice!

Suggests you roll the can before pouring - everything old is new again. The beer is much the same colour as the can - shopworn custard - with a near inch of white head. Tropical aroma of pineapple, mango, peach and passionfruit, hints of bubblegum, crackers. Juicy with the rather smudged palate of its ilk. Slight bitterness is not quite enough to finish decisively. A grass clipping note that never threatens to be astringent. OK. Where's LCPA in cans in Vic? What's the hold up? [edit: 12 Sept - who says RateBeer is no longer influential? -- 3 days later, LCPA in cans.]

Can. Somewhat hazy yellowish orange with an inch of white head. Aroma is tropical with a lemon edge, some sherbet and crackers. Slightly chalky texture, lowish carbonation. You just compare these to Stone & Wood without thinking - it's a little drier and the citrus edge keeps it together better for me. Rather vague, smudged palate. Modest but sufficient bitterness. OK.

Can. Dark brown with a light tan head that fades from a cm. Aroma of caramel, green capsicum, mocha. But chocolate and richness (sweetness, body/lactose? and vanilla) arrive in the taste and it’s all good. Spices and enough bitterness at the end.
