Bottle, 8C. Gold with an inch of white head that fades after a time. Aroma of honeyed biscuit, mandarins, white pepper, some lemon and mango. 6 Light bodied, medium carbonation. Sweet with light biscuit, hay, bitterness that’s more weedy than fruity. Dries out nicely at the end though. OK dustcutter.

Bottle. Gold with a small white head that’s soon gone. Aroma of biscuit, lemon, grass, weeds. Lowish carbonation.2 Sweet and flabby with some citrus and grassy flavours that brighten things a little. Moderate bitterness. Pretty basic, a few more bubbles might have helped.

500ml bottle into glass. Nose is gentle sour raspberry, even distant hops. Pours amber/pink (changes colour with distance/angle). Thin head that disappears, champagne bubbles with active sediment floating about. Taste is sour dry sherbet with raspberry following. Finish is dry, tangy then malt before hops and raspberry remain. Superb, refreshing.

Botled. Golden colour, clear, brief head. Grassy aroma with a whiff of grapefruity hops. Sweet and firmly malty with clean mouthfeel and a fair amount of hops, resulting in an orangey flavour and a pleasantly bitter finish. Nothing spectacular, but a solid, well made lager.
