Bottle. Almost black with a tan head that fades to a fat coat. Aroma of chocolate, roasted barley, brown sugar. Fairly light bodied. Dry and quite roasty with light caramel and coffee as well as chocolate. Maybe some hints of dark fruits too. The focus is not on the bitterness at the end, but there’s enough to provide a finish and keep you interested. Pretty good and exactly what it purports to be.

A yellow blonde lager with a thick collapsing lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light citrus, light butterscotch, OK. In mouth, a rather watery representation, with fruity malt, oily mouth feel, light citrus, strange and unbalanced. On tap at 1925 Brewery, Singapore.

From a 330ml bottle on 7/10/2016. Pours very dark brown with a small head. The nose features some chocolate and some light smoke. Flavour wise, you primarily get chocolate malt, a good dash of coffee, some mild smokiness, and just a touch of warming chilli at the back. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Nicely balanced and enjoyable.
