(Bottle) Cloudy amber with small white head. Nice aroma of pine with passion fruit and biscuity notes. Light body, good carbonation. Taste has hops at the forefront over a light biscuit malt. There’s some nice tart fruitiness at the start but the (pleasant) hop bitterness kicks in quickly and stays around for a long finish. Nice IPA.

Bottle. Very clear reddish amber with a tightly packed off white head. Aroma has layers of caramelised malt and toffee, smoke, light spices. Perhaps slightly lighter bodied than I'd have guessed. Not all that sweet but a little flabby where I wanted stern. Bitterness is just a little more than balancing. Some smoky and toasted notes linger. Not bad.

Bottle. Black with fat coat of tan head. Aroma of caramel and vanilla syrupy bourbon, with firmish roast, some chocolate and a suggestion of blackcurrant (perhaps surprisingly) holding their own. And that follows into the palate and taste: the Bourbon influence is there but not allowed to stomp all over the stout. Lightish bodied and not all that sweet with a little roast and mocha before drying out a little with bitterness that's just enough to provide a finish. Clever.

Bottle from Ben’s Independent Grocer : DC Mall, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a crystal clear light golden colour with a fizzy white head. The aroma is light toffeee caramel gluey malt, light fruit, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, dry malt, light yeast, light watery metallic, light dry woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Won't win too many awards, but fine for a short session on a hot day.

Keg at Alchemist Beer Lab, Singapore. Very dark brown, small head. Intense aroma of chocolate and brandy. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Peppery with molasses, chocolate, licorice and notes of vanilla. Intensely warming finish.

Tap @ Full Moon Brew Works, Phuket. Lightty cloudy yellow-golden pour with some white foam on top. I wondered about why the aroma is so weak and full of old hops - but when they are bringing this over from Australia, then its kind of to be expected. Quite malty, sweetish - and fruity nose Lemongrass is lost on me but maybe some citrus there? Tastes mild, malty sweetness still dominating, light bitterness. Nice to drink, definitely so. Do I feel any Thai special character - not really.

(Bottle) Pours clear golden with tiny white head. Nice aroma - citrus with earthy hints. Light body, rather fizzy. Surprising and pleasant taste of oranges (or tangerines / mandarins), gets a bit thin in the mid palate, but a decent bitterness builds in the finish. Unusual, easy drinking and pleasant.

From a 330ml bottle on 28/1/2018 (shared with Butz). Pours a deep amber with a small to medium head. The aroma features lots of milk chocolate and caramel. Taste wise, theres more chocolate and caramel, as well as a good dash of nuttiness. The . hops are reasonably firm and mesh with sweet maltiness very nicely. Medium bodied with moderate to average carbonation. Unusual and pretty impressive.

330ml bottle into shaker. Golden amber beer with two-finger creamy white head. High carbonation, tiny bubbles. Nose is mostly tangerine with occasional whiffs of biscuity malt. Somewhat reminiscent of an Orange Cream. Light body, watery. Finish is lingering fruit cordial and biscuits. Good start, nice finish. Just lacking a bit of body.
