750ml bottle pours out straw color topped with a white fizzy head. Nose is nice grape touch funky barrel notes and a touch of zest. Taste is more of the nice funky tart notes barrel and some of that grape kick.

De garde still got the delicious cheesy Tillamook funk going on, sad to see this small format but whatever works for tavour shipping. Deeply rustic farmy funk, lemony flavor, dry pithy cheesy finish.

On tap at Chuck's CD, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of phenols, along with wild head, and oak. Flavour is much the same, with plenty of phenols, wild head, oak, and some vinous notes. This is clearly from back in the day when De Garde has phenol issues. It's clearly a competent brew underneath, but too flawed to be sold — poor given their skill.

Amber hazy color, small white head. smells grassy, earthy, citric, funky, flowery, earthy. full body, soft carbonation. tastes citric, grassy, earthy, peppery, tea, flowery, herbal. finishes lightly dry and light to medium sour with notes of tea, flowery and hay.
