[2015 Vintage] 500mL bottle. Pours black with foamy beige head. Roasted malt and dry cacao on the nose. Flavour has toasted malts, stale bread, dry cacao, fairly gentle bourbon barrels. A bit thin, but the flavour profile has decent complexity.

Hazy, purplish-brown colour. Foamed up - a bit lively. Soft vinous aroma, with light brett. Dry. Mild fruit, but it's tasty. Again, a slighter brett character than I would have thought with the way it popped and frothed. Good effort.

Bomber, 2024 vintage. Chocolate aroma with notes of roasted malt, earthy rye, vanilla, caramel, whiskey and oak. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has very little retention and essentially no lacing. Starts with chocolate, roasted malt, caramel and vanilla flavors as well as having a rich, full body and slick, viscous mouthfeel. Finishes impeccably smooth with earthy rye, whiskey and oak flavors. Fantastic imperial stout!

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is complex, with plenty of spicy rye whiskey barrels, medium roast, and a touch of smoky whiskey. Flavour is super rich, with plenty of whiskey barrels, spicy rye, and medium roast. Rather viscous but not sweet, finishing spicy and earthy. Excellent.

On tap at Oakshire - PDX, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is rich and decadent, with huge bourbon barrel presence dominating the nose, with powerful roasted malt and dark sugars underneath. Flavour is massive, with humongous bourbon barrel presence, vanillin, dark sugars, and a deep roasted malt base. Quite viscous and powerful without being brutal. Fantastic as usual from this series.

On tap at Oakshire - PDX, pours black with a small tan head. Nose brings out a nice mix of cinnamon, dark sugars, and coffee, with solid malt base. Flavour is dry, with plenty of cinnamon, gentle coffee, and fermented out dark sugars. Nice incorporation of the cinnamon. Don’t get any peppers. Solid spiced stout.

On tap at Oakshire - PDX, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige bead. Aroma has lots of bubblegum, candi sugar, and some red fruits. Flavour is bubblegumy, with red fruits, candi sugar, and esters, and yet the sugars have been fermented out reasonably. Not on-point — too estery.

On tap at Oakshire - PDX, pours a deep dark burgundy with a small off-white head. Aroma has plenty of bready caramel, dark dried fruits, and some brown sugar. Flavour is full of caramel malts, toffee, and brown sugar. Nice rich caramel, but borderline too syrupy. Solid enough.

On tap at Oakshire - PDX, pours a clear dull golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of piney hops, some citrusy, and a touch of grass. Flavour has a nice, dry, dank hop character, with moderate pine, and dry biscuity malt to back. Excellent balance, with a bitter, piney, lightly fruity finish. Excellent.
