22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of pungent grapefruit, mandarin oranges, some tropical fruits, very pleasant wallop of resinous hops and some pine, backed by lots of caramel malt. Flavour is beautifully balanced, with resinous and piney hops galore, not much of the tropical fruit or grapefruit detected in the nose, but backed by a lot of caramel malt, just enough to balance this without killing the hops. Finishes piney and buttery, with low astringency. A most excellent IIPA.

Tap at OBF. Pours orange amber with a creamy off-white head. Citrus hop aroma. Med body. Flavor is very complex citrus with malt. Also herbs? Nuts? Red berries? Think I get those. It’s very hoppy, but it isn’t strongly bitter. Extremely tasty.

Sampled on tap at PIB, pours a very dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma of brandy barrels, liqueur, candied sugar and noticeable booze. Flavour of brandy barrels, dark fruits, toffee and English malts. Very full-bodied and well-designed. Sweet, but never cloying. Very rich and full-filling. A world-class BA barley wine here.

Aroma is rather roasted with some coffee and chocolate. Flavour has hops, roastiness and some peat. Good, but the peat does not fit here perfectly.

Bottle: Poured a burnt coppery orange with fluffy off white head. Aroma is fresh hops. Taste is fresh bitter hops with some edgy malt balance.

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity dry malty spicy hoppy dark fruit aroma. Fruity malty spicy hoppy bitter and slightly woody vanilla flavor. Has a sweetish malty hoppy bitter finish with hints of vanilla.

Bottle shared by Adam, thanks! Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of dank grass with a nice grain and bread backing. Flavor is dank as well with grass and a hint of pine backed by an earthy grain note.

Cloudy amber color, small head. The aroma shows both some oak aging (vanilla) and dust.; light cheese and fruits. Sweet malt flavor, caramel, some fudge; wood; the bitterness in the end is a bit odd.
