4.8% alk. Vrlo je pitko pivo. Iza njega ostaje suhi i malo gorki okus. Ovo bi bio odličan prijelaz sa svijetlih na crne pive za one koji ne vole "teške" crne pive.

Bottled 500ml. -from local Lidl Zagreb. Clear amber coloured, small off-white head, caramellish nose. Light roasted malt, some caramel, some weak herbal hops and touch of metal in rather dry finish. Drinkable but something is missing to be a better beer.

Bottle, 0.5l. Dark ruby pour with two finger beige head, quickly diminishing, leaving good lacing. Interesting nose, fruity, forest fruits and berries. Slightly roasted. Thin to medium body. A bit above average carbonation, prickly on the tongue. Light texture, smooth and easy drinking. Mildly bitter taste with some fruity tart notes thrown in for a nice balance. Malty aroma, a bit of caramel, slightly roasted. Licorice. Fruity aftertaste. Forest fruits and berries. Surprisingly rich aroma. Dry mouthfeel. Lasting finish, dry and a bit peppery. Nice. Overall, pretty good. Fairly complex, rich in aroma and very drinkable. Nice one.

From Lidl. Dark ruby body with a tan head. Malty, slightly fruity (blackberry) tart, light dry maltiness. Medium carbonation. A mix between mild roasty maltiness, breadiness and some herbal hops in the taste, vague tartness, Ends dry. Nice and complex enough. Well done!

Matched alongside takeaway pizza and it was a good pairing. Strong bitter hops cut through the cheese and it was served chilled to help deal with the salt and the richness. Very nice.

Cask pint in The Fleece, Otley Yorkshire on 8th April 2017. Light golden pour, white topping. Light floral nose, subtle flavoured and nicely balanced with just about enough malty sweetness to keep my sweet tooth interested.

Cask at the White Swan, Leeds. Pours clear golden amber with a lasting white head. Intense fruit aroma particularly blackberry. Good mix of bitter and sweet which evolved from seemingly very sweet to start to more dominant fruit bitterness - with blackberry coming through in the aroma at all times. Quite light body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish is dry and fruity. Big fan of this.
