Cask at the Mitre, Nicholson’s - Edinburgh. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. The nose holds some hay, citric hops, dry grains. Light sweet flavour with grainy pale malts, lemon rind, hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Further citric hops to finish, slight astringency, mellow citrus notes, a bit of bitter grass and rind. So so.

Keg at the Lyric. It pours clear golden orange with a medium white head. The nose is fresh, juicy fruits, orange, mango and such like....and some spring onion and straw. The taste is crisp, bitter, lemon rind, orange, floral, light pepper, biscuity malt, faint herbal and some onion with a dry finish. Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. Crisp and easy drinking, bit the onion element doesn’t do it any favours.

on tap at Beer Cellar Exeter. Cloudy pale golden with a white head. Yeasty and wheaty, a touch fruitier than your average German Hefeweizen. Smooth and velvety on the palate. Well rounded, good stuff.

on tap at Beer Cellar Exeter. Almost black, with a beige head. Rather flat carbonation from the start, light and mild, some dark flavours and low in sweetness. Not my favourite.

Bottle from the Bottle Bank. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - lemon and barley with toffee note lurking. Taste - lemon lime and pith. Slightly metallic - like I’m drinking this after brushing my teeth. Palate - light to medium bodied with a dry tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - smells fruity, tastes very dry.

Bottle, Chester Beer & Wine. Murky orange pour with a thin white head. Sweet, tropical fruity nose with some fragrant hop presence. Fairly gentle carbonation. Sweetish flavour with some excellent hoppage in attendance alongside notes of orange, spice and malts .Dried out nicely in a lingering bitter finish. A new brewery on me and this was very tasty stuff, might just be the best Cornish beer I’ve tasted.
