Cask, house beer at Continental as Fernandes Continental Bitter, 3.9 % abv. A low white head over a clear golden body. Upper part glass-lacing. Promising smell of ripe citrus. Leafy hops to the taste profile, ends dry with a pleasant bitter touch. Likable. (Preston 05.02.2019).

8th Feb 2019. Cask, hand-pulled half-pint in The Station Hotel, Oakengates. Golden body, clean and clear, white crown. Citrusy nose and taste with a dry finish; another golden citrus flavoured beer, not really my thing; scored objectively.

Cask, hand-pulled half-pint in The Station Hotel, Oakengates, Shropshire on 3rd Jan 2019. Good golden body, white crown. Strange aroma and taste (hence the name?), liquorice, aniseed and old cough medicine came to mind as I sniffed and sipped this brew. Different and interesting, no idea what spices, hops or malts were used.
