26-11-20 // 500ml can from CW online. Lovely modern lager. Canned 02 July, now I need an even fresher one. Damn soft and smooth. Light sweet malts, bready. Light citrus and floral with a drier white grape aroma. Lower bitterness. Great.

Crowler at home, from BD TH, 22/11/20. Almost clear golden orange with a decent white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is mellow brett but well evident, pale malts, grass, grains, lemon rind, cereals. Taste comprises dusty fruit esters, grains, pale malts, light breads, bretted nip, hay bale, off vanilla, lemon drizzle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid lager ... good brett coverage ... pretty subtle but you know its there.

Can from HoTM. It pours crystal clear golden - copper with a thick and study white head. The aroma is bready malts, cereal, nuts, spice, grass, rivita and earth. The taste is dry, rather bitter, earthy, nutty, spice, metallic twang, cereal, earth and soapy florals with a drying bitter, nutty finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. A bit toothy after a while. It's ok, but lacks the drinkability. Ok, but sub par for donzoko.
