This is how you use English hops! Wow! Great refreshing lager. Piney. Crisp. Extremely hoppy IPL (JA) style. Resinous. Great use of First Gold and Challenger. Drinks like Kernel Table Beer. A very accomplished IPL hybrid.

Okay, so I wasn’t sold on a session lager, but perfect summer park drink—easy floral classic Agee. Exactly what you’d expect from Donzoko

Can from Westhill SS. It pours pretty much with a quickly dissipating tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, earthy roasted malts, coffee grounds, light smokey bonfire, cacao nibs and dark chocolate torte. The taste is dry roasted malts upfront, earthy bitterness, cacao nibs, sticky, chocolate cake, earthy roast, coffee grounds, coffee cake, nutty aspect and some underlying vanilla like sweetness with a dry, hard roasted finish. Medium body, fine foamy carbonation and some stickiness in the mouth. Decent stuff. Not up their with the lagers, but fun nonetheless.

Black beer with a thin head and a rich coffee smell. Taste has loads of coffee, some malt and a load of chocolate through it too. Not a huge depth of flavour but it's pretty tasty and the coffee lingers into the aftertaste nicely. Good richness to it as well.
