Half pint, cask ale at Lounge. Spotty lacing from a clear dark brown body. Filmy layer. Aroma of caramel. Taste of caramel, nuts and herbal hops. Bittersweet end. Smooth and clean tasting. Nice (Plymouth 24.09.2016).

Tap at Swan Inn, Farnborough. 07/10/16. Aroma? Dark chestnut. Medium beige head. Slightly bitter. Cheap chocolate, a hint of orange peel. Bitterness increases in the finish. Thick bodied, slick. Flat. OK. Surprisingly flavourless. Zzzzz.

Tap at Swan Inn, Farnborough. 07/19/16. Nil aroma. Bright amber, equally bright white head. Fluffy, if sparse. Sweet with a bitter finish. Light bodied and slick. Sweet fruit and caramel. A straightforward bitter, but chugged it down.

Cask at Prince of Wales, Farnborough. Feint floral aroma, with a hint of vinegar (but not a negative). Slightly hazy copper gold (pape copper as per description), but not much of a head. Bitter, Iโd say not quite medium. Light bodied flat. Soft mouthfeel, even if a tad watery. Oily mouthfeel in the finish. Burnt caramel. Not the most interesting beer, but it a is a decent pint. Just โniceโ.

Cask at Prince of Wales, Farnborough. 25/08/16. Feint arma - slightly sweet. Bright gold. Thin white head. Flat. Very soft, which extends through in to the finish. Pleasant mouthfeel. Sweet to sour. Honeydew melon. Good stuff. A perfect summer seasonal.

Cask. Fast klare hell goldgelbe Farbe. Geruch mild grasig hopfig, leicht zitronig. Geschmack getreidig sรผร malzig, leicht grasig hopfig, langweilig.

Cask at Swan Inn, Farnborough. 07/08/16. Feint aroma. Earthy. A hint of caramel. Medium amber. Pretty healthy head. Longevity. Blotchy. Medium bodied but smooth. Initially quite subtle, with a sharp bitter aftertaste. Not really getting much. Slips down but pretty boring.

Cask at Swan Inn, Farnborough. 07/08/16. Not a very strong aroma, sweet, sugary. Deep amber. Really nice thick white head. Smooth mouthfeel. A medium bitterness then kicks in and flows through to the aftertaste. Grapefruit and caramel. A good pint.

29th July 2016: cask pint in my local Wetherspoons. Clear golden amber pour, white head and good lacing. Fruity esters with a light malty aroma, taste similar with semi-sweet malts blending with a mild citrus, tropical fruit flavour. Decent.

Cask at the Swan, Farnborough. 20/07/16. Aroma = zilch. Bright amber, healthy white washing up liquid head. Sweet and sour. Caramel, grapefruit... vinegar. Three of us drinking it, one of us suspects itโs off. Soft palate. OK.
