Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - apples and lemon. Taste - loads more apples with a pale malt note just about there. Palate - light bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a decent if slightly old school golden ale.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s mid-week lasting 03/07/14. Firstly let me say that I really love the way the Yorkshire got behind the Toud de France Grand Depart. Fantastic stuff. Clouded ornge / yellow coloured pour with a small fleeting of white head. Aroma is petroleum, spicy tangerine, orange and some nice earthy straw notes. Flavour is grainy wheat, orange, juicy tangerine and some staling. Palate is semi-sweet, grainy on the tongue and a bit lack lustre.

Craig on Heat Tasting at ChrisO’s. Bottle 391/500. Very hazy gold beer, big bubbly white head. Palate is light and dry with light fine carbonation. Dry yeasty bitterness. Touches of esters and floralness. Little violets and herby dried fruits. Pear drops. Dry finish. Too dry to be great, but interesting.

Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Palate starts smooth, turning crispy from good fine carbonation. Light thin creamy malt. Big herby floralness, but never overwhelming. Whisper of mint. Light hop bitterness as it reaches a smooth finish. Interesting beer!
