330ml bottle. Jet black colour with slightly late awakening, average to huge, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, brown head. Chocolately and slightly roasty, dark malty as well as slightly spicy and nutty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, couverture, some cinnamon, tonka bean, coffee overtones. Taste is sweet, chocolately, slightly roasty, dark malty and slightly spicy, minimally nutty, notes of cinnamon, dark chocolate, couverture, some tonka bean, coffee; some roasty and hoppy bitterness in the finish, increasing/accumulating intensity of the tonka bean flavours. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Harmonious composition, fairly complex, balanced - nice sipper.

Bottled, 10% abv
Black with a small head. Slightly sourish aroma with notes of berries, liquorice and dried plums. Soft and rounded mouthfeel. Taste is Port, liquorice and chocolate. Pretty mild for an Imperial Stout.

ABV: 10.5%. Clear dark black colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, dark malt, minty, cocoa, raisin, palo santo incense. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate, cocoa, minty, raisin, palo santo incense. Body is medium to full, texture is oily to creamy and sticky, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20240319]

Ambar casi opaca de un dedo de espuma y buena retención. Aroma poco marcado, ligeramente floral y acido. En boca paso muy suave al paladar, agradable. Sabor malteado con rico contrapunto de tono floral, miel y recuerdos de pan y bollería. Final amargo y mínimamente acido.

Roasty, chocolately and minimally nutty, dark malty and caramel malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, couverture, dark toffee, dark caramel, a touch of treacle, whiffs of coffee and chicory. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately and roasty, minimally spicy, dark and caramel malty, slightly alcoholic, notes of dark chocolate, dark toffee, dark caramel, some coffee, a touch of treacle and chickory; warming, alcoholic finish. Creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, medium, foamy, mildly prickly carbonation. Rich and intense, a tad boozy - good.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Black colour, small beige head. Aroma is liquorice, minthe and some almonds and nutmeg with some alcohol and chocolate. Flavour is cocoa, almonds, some toasted tones, mild brandy and some nutty tones with some alcohol to it. Mild smoked tones with some slight cedar tones to it.

On tap. Pours black with moderate head. Aromas of creamy coffee, red berries, vanilla, and rich roasty malts. Flavors of sweet creamy coffee, treacle, chocolate syrup, vanilla and oily roasted malts. Excellent.

Can at tasting. A bit hazy yellow golden color, small white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, a bit metallic, spurce bitters, bitter. Alright.
