Level 42 botteshare. Thanks to Colin. Hazy gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and smooth, modest fine carbonation. Mildly sweet pale malts. Smooth floral mid. Mild bubblegum esters. Modest citric pith and peel and a pinch of hop spice. Smooth finish. Okay. could do without the esters.

Bottle shared in CW - many thanks to Coleen. Pours unclear gold with a bubbly, white head. Odd nose, some rind, faint plastic, ash. Lit sweet flavour with more pleasant citrus, melon, peach, tangerine. Light bodied with fine carbonation. More citrus notes in the finish, pale bread, peach, tangerine. Not bad in the end.

Bottle thanks to Colin. It pours cloudy orange with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, grainy, stone fruits, light solvent, grainy and marmalade. The taste is smooth, mellow, apricot, orange muffin, peach, marmalade and minerals with a shirt finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Not too bad, drinks easy.

Bottle at Level 42 tasting, from the bottle shop place in Falmouth, 11/07/16. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white swirl. Nose is orange peel, melon, soft bread, sraw. Taste comprises orange peel, tangerine, straw, melon, toasted grain, bready, vanilla. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Drinkable number but low end for style, and bloody pricey for it at that when compared to Kernel and the UK leading members of said genre (think 20% more cost).

Bottle at home, 14/06/16. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a well appointed off white head that retains well. Nose is tangerine, pale malt, melon, straw, orange marmalade, candyfloss, earthy hop strokes. Taste comprises orange peel, straw, melon, toasted bread, vague floral notes, caramel, light chalky minerals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a subtle hop bite. Decent golde, clean, fresh and a decent lick of hops for the style, half way to an APA.

Cask at the Oddfellows Arms, Falmouth, 25/04/16. Clear golden blonde with a decent off White cap that retains well. Nose is citric hops, floral wash, tangerines, soft bread. Taste comprises juicy citric flesh, grassy, floral, lemon rind, soft bread dough, melon. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a juicy hop flicker. Solid citric sessioner .. ABV quite high for a golde ... have come across APA’s less hoppy than this.
