Clear apple juice with a rich honey tint to it.
Earthy with interesting yeast character and rich but seemingly well-attenuated honey. Apple is very fruity, but not sweet or overpowering. Just some tartness on the finish; no alcohol.
Sweet, rich, juicy with a good mix of lightly peppery honey and fleshy apple. Sweetness up front dries out nicely on the finish with the mildly tart apple. Rich and comforting with a tasteful apple character that allows the mead to still retain its honey character front and center.

From 375 bottle. Appearance is a sort of a copper-rose color. The aroma is quite strong with some ginger and oak barrel. The flavor, like the aroma, is ginger, honey, and oak barrel. Somehow all these flavors come together quite nicely. The oak barrel provides a bit of bitterness to off-set the honey. The palate is full. Finishes long and sticky. Overall: decent mead. much enjoyed.

375 ml bottle. Clear yellow gold pour. Aroma is really quite beyond my ability to describe--it is unique and herbal. Never sensed anything quite like it before. The taste is also quite unusual, complex and herbal. Palate is full. Finishes long and sweet. Overall: I really don't know what the hell I just drank, but I liked it. Its really cool when you taste something that is nothing like anything tasted before--and its good. Bought an extra bottle for the cellar.

From 375 bottle. Pours a very dark purple color. The aroma is strong with mixed berries. The taste, like the aroma, is rich with mixed berries and some seeds. I find it difficult to identify any one berry. Mildly tart. The palate is full and oily. Finishes long and semi-sweet. Overall: The good folks at Schramm's continue to amaze me.

from 375 ml bottle. Pours a dark purple color. The aroma is quite strong with raspberries and a bit of tannin acidity. The taste, like the aroma, has sweet raspberries in the forefront with some woody/viny/seedy complexity that give it nice tangy aspect to balance the sweetness. The palate is full and a bit oily. Finishes impossibly long and sweet with lingering berries. Overall: Decent stuff. I would drink this every day if I could afford to do that. Paired well with some Jarlsberg cheese.

375ml bottle. Pours an amber color with no head. The aroma is strong with honey, herbs, floral and some leather. The taste is complex with different layers of honey, herbs, leather, a bit of pepper and some hibiscus. The palate is full and oily. Finishes long and sweet with lingering spices. Overall: Decent--This is a top tier mead. Paired well with a salty Grana Padano cheese.

Sweet berry fruity with a supportive sweet honey and caramel backing, nice vibrant berry fruity throughout, light floral and herbal accents into the berry infused finish. Lovely stuff.

Intense deep fruity with raspberry, cherry and blackcurrant, set upon a lovely honey sweet backbone, the cherry giving a light tartness to balance, lovely mouthfeel and body, cherry infused lingering sweet finish. Lovely balance, exquisite.

Thanks to Bj�rn M. Sweet with lovely notes of raspberry, raspberry skin, undertones of sweet honey and caramel, nice mouthfeel and body, has light almost nutty accents coming in, big raspberry lingering fruity finish. Lovely.
