A golden ale with no head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light perfumy notes, light flowers. In mouth, light bodied sweet fruity malt with light spices, light herbs, like chamomile, OK. On tap at brewery.

Cask@The Great British Beer Festival 2022 (Days 1&2) - Tropical fruity aroma and taste, peach and mango stonefruit notes, medium body, piney light bitter hoppy finish. Tasty gear.

Can from the Packie Pours mostly clear tawny amber with a decent sized long lasting off white head. Bready caramel with a hint of clove and light earthy hops. I'm missing the crusty toasted bread and dark dried fruits that are the hallmark of this style.

Can pour from Beer and Wine Nation. It's an opaque black (dark brown at the bottom of the glass) with no sparkle, 8-finger (?-WTF, did somebody shake this up?) light brown foam head with decent retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, dried leaves. Taste is strong roasted malt, dried leaves with hint of molasses. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a decent straightforward porter.

13th annual New Hampshire Brewfest draft pour. Aroma is Saaz grassy hints. Great balance of sweet grain, Saaz hops and a light bready malt. Mouthfeel is light and crisp, finish is clean. Really great and finely crafted example of the style.

Can from the Packie. Lightly hazy light gold, tried to pour itself out of a very cold can but strangely not highly carbonated. Bready fruity maltiness. Earthy light astringent hops Lingering aspirin. Not horrible but needs some attention to detail.

5 oz. draft. Aroma and flavor are bready malts, spice, grain, apples, and toffee. Light to medium bodied for the style. Sweet finish. Average example.
