Tap at Liar's Bench Brewery, Portsmouth. Color is slightly cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Grain, some sweetness and malts. Little bit of attacking but clear.

Sample from the source. Dark brown bordering on black with a rich tan head that persists. Smokey earthy phenols against a thin caramel and chocolate maltiness. Light earthy hops. Could have used a bit more body or sweetness to counter the smoke imho, but pretty tasty as is.

Sample from the source. Dark yellow in color with bits of hazy and a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Bready resinous earthy citrus and light fruit with a hint of astringency. Not bad.

Sample from the source. Dark amber bordering on copper with a thin off white head. Rich caramel and darker sugary malt with bits of bread and hints of earth to counter. Pretty respectable lager.

32 oz. growler from the source. Nice aroma of mild molasses, light smoke, light chocolate. Flavor follow the aromas and is much bolder than I was expecting for a porter at 5.1%. Body is a tad lean but that was to be expected. The smoke, molasses, and chocolate are pretty well evacuated.

4 oz. sample. (Could drink a lot more of this) Nice pitch black liquid, thin off, lasting white head. Aroma is a nice level of chocolate, weak ash, mild roast.
Good roast for the backbone. The chocolate hits my palate second with a light yeast toward the finish. Creamy mouthfeel with a very nice velvet smoothness. Very well done.

Sampled at the source. Slow, Steady carbonation in a crystal clear gold. Aroma is mostly all yeast with a mild hint of a floral note. Flavor is a exact copy of the aroma. Good flavor for a super light gravity. Could drink a ton, extremely light

Sampled at the source. One of the brewers here is a baseball fan. I love the name! Bravo! Ok... deep brown in color, aroma leans on nutty with a lot of English influence. Deep earthy malts, bread, weak chocolate hints. Body is respectable (maybe a tad flimsy). This is alright.
