500ml Bottle - Hazy brown with some orange tinges. Banana, spice and hints of Christmas cake in the aroma. Fruity, malty, sweetish and rich taste with cloves, Christmas cake, raisins and banana. Quite nice but a bit rich and sweet to properly enjoy.

Brown with a thin, frothy head. Aroma of cooked bananas, caramel. A hint of fudge. Taste has the expected Dunkelweizen features: sweet with bananas and yeasty dark bread. A touch of tartness at the finish, which is also a touch watery. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Not bad. Middle of the road sort of thing.

(Bottle, Foersters Feine Biere, Steglitz, Berlin, 9 May 2019) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with lasting white head. Malty, wheaty nose with notes of bread, clove and a touch of cucumber. Malty, wheaty taste with bread, clove, peaches, banana and hints of smoke. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. A bit odd, but quite tasty. Quite nice.

Spritzig rezent, vollmundig, wärmend alkoholisch; Anklänge an Klosterlikör. Im Abgang fruchtige Herbe mit etwas Rhabarber. - Ausgeprägt fruchtiger Weizenbock, durchaus trinkbar aber für meinen Geschmack entschieden zu bananig.

Flascherl: Pale golden, hazy, small white foamy layer, mild sourish- grainy nose, hops hardly detectable; mild bitter-sweet flavour with a certain acidity (yeast or infection???), light bodied, not overly soft; short dryish sourish metallic and grainy finish. Almost a drain-pour! Cobbler, stick to Your last...

(bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Slightly dusty, grainy malty aroma with notes of herbal and slightly grassy hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly mineralic grainy malt character with hints of sulfur, accompanied by lighter herbal and grassy hoppy notes; sweet grainy malty and shy hop bitter finish with sulfuric notes. They better stick to their Hefeweizen. 03.X.18
