Draught at the brewery, 6/25/21.
Mostly clear, straw golden with a small, but fairly well-retained, white head.
Liquid hay in a glass! Wow. That just smells like someone took freshly cut hay and blended up. Biscuit, cracker, grass, herbs, pepper and just the right amount of malt sweetness to balance all of the fun yeast character. And importantly, it's not full of messy phenol/ester. Really encouraging to see that this is not a banana/clove brewery.
Soft and dry in the mouth but with a great malt depth and gentle sweetness to balance the rustic grain and gentle ester character. Great attenuation and no messy/dominant phenols. Excellent, excellent stuff and a ton of flavor for its size.

Draught at the brewery, 6/25/21.
Good clarity and a maize tint to the otherwise pale, straw-golden. White head atop is medium-sized, showing fair retention.
Earthy, light yellow fruit-accented motueka is moderate in the nose, allowing softer esters and other various fruit notes to build complexity. Malts are certainly present though seemingly well-attenuated (relative to its size). Still a fair bit of honey, biscuit and white bread-like character, but it's balanced well by hop acidity (which is pretty gentle) and spicy phenolics. No alcohol or flaw.
Medium-to-full bodied for the style with a healthy malt backbone without being too sweet. Earth, herbs and moderate yellow fruit notes are abundance with honey and angel food cake from the malt. Hops are well-integrated in to the finish with plentiful, strong ester/phenol character and light citrus, as well. Really nice modern take. Neither hop nor yeast are dominant and you get to see the interplay of both nicely.

Can from Crafted. Pretty amber pour very large foamy head. Nose is malt, tea, fruity. Tastes of earl grey, cherry, malt, earth, dandelion greens. Round palate. Reminds of British pub for sure transporting myself back in my mind.
