Spicy phenolics but no huge clove. Despite how malty their beers are on average, this one smells, at least, quite dry. Stone fruit and a hint of balsamic, ever so slightly.
Still very malty, though, despite the nose appearing more dry. If these guys could just get a bit more attenuation on their beers they'd be a standout here in MA. As is, just a bit too sluggishly sweet. But the yeast profile is classy. More slight vinousness is lovely. No alcohol noted.

A bit of chalk/mineral with fruity white grape and mineral. Not as much of the expected fruit salad or lime from the Motueka. Rich and fruity overall, though.
Vivacious Enigma in the flavor. Huge cherry-melon. I absolutely love this expression of this hop. Mild mineral, with a touch of lime and fruit salad from Motueka in the background. Very deeply malty and, unfortunately, just a bit too sweet, otherwise this would be top tier stuff. Big, rich, honey character and fantastic whirlpooled hop character.

Bread, sweaty hop and toast all at once, with a bit more aroma than many of their beers. Very fruity on the finish.
Buttery with apple, sweaty moderately boiled hop and a lightly toasty, bready, buscuity texture. Sweeter up front but drying out. Despite the butter, apple, pepper, there's something compelling here. Or maybe it's just the throwback novelty.

Toasted brown bread and a bit of peppery, spicy hop.
Clean and malty, not too soft/sluggish of texture, though certainly deeply malted. Excellent toast character and mildly bitter, peppery hop to help balance. Polished, clean and well-made which seems to be the theme here.

Not a huge amount of aroma, but nothing crude here.
In the mouth it's malty as their beers seem to be. Spicy phenolics don't get too clovey. Not going to mistake this for Dupont but it's a lot closer than many American examples. Appreciate the maltiness and peppery bitterness on the finish. A touch too sweet and soft as it warms/breathes.

A bit orangey bc they gave me an orange slice in it. Maybe done nutty, crusty wheat behind it.
Quite malty/wheaty. Rich, soft, fairly sweet. But the flavors are bold and excellent if you don't mind a bit sweeter, maltier wit.

As pictured.
Lovely PNW hops mix with base and dark malts to give candied citrus, chocolate and juicy pine. Bright and clean without resin or excessive roast.
Coffee and orange with dark chocolate. Malty body for its size, drying out with piney, grapefruity hop. A ton going on for its small size.

Fruity berries are a bit unusual though not unpleasant. Soft honey and mildly herbaceous hop notes join. Clean, not so much crisp as it is intensely fruity.
Thankfully the big raspberry doesn't translate to the flavor. Though the flavor presents its own issues with a giant corn character. Theres no corn in this, of course, so I don't know if it's diacetyl or just weird yeast and malt interactions. Soft and malty otherwise with good bitterness and reasonable dryness on the finish. Some mild fruitiness but a lot of that buttery corn character lingering.

Malty, fruity, earthy, good mineral and interesting yeast. Light herb, earth, pepper from the hops. Clean, bright, fruity.
Malty, though drying out with lots of bread crust. Red fruits, lots of pepper and mineral. Softening as it warms/breathes. Very vibrant, bright and polished/well-executed.
