Description
Anno 1520, das Bayerische Reinheitsgebot war gerade mal vier Jahre alt, wurde unsere Brauerei erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Was folgte, war eine Erfolgsgeschichte, die mittlerweile ein halbes Jahrtausend andauert.
Natürlich wandelte sich in dieser Zeit vieles. Doch eines blieb immer konstant und hat die Jahre überdauert: das Streben nach einem Bier, das den regionalen und überregionalen Vergleich nicht zu scheuen braucht.
Als familiengeführte Brauerei ist die Franken Bräu Garant für die Bierkultur unserer Heimat. Wir sehen darin eine hohe Verpflichtung, die wirtschaftliche Existenz und Führung des Unternehmens auch weiterhin in privater Hand fortzusetzen.

Bottle from Bier-Spezialitäten-Laden, Berlin. Pale gold with a fluffy white head. Sweet, slightly honeyed malt nose with floral hops. Easy drinking with sweet malts and lingering bitter finish. Good.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and wheat. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of wheat and banana as well as light notes of cloves.

Golden-amber. Slight haze. Rocky head. Has a somewhat grassy hop aroma. Clean, fresh taste. Light hop accent leaves some woodiness but there is also a strong earthy malt underpinning.

Swing top bottle. Blonde, cloudy. Lemon and banana in the aroma and flavor. Just a touch of grass. Medium bodied. Citrus aftertaste. Not unpleasant, but kinda average.

Bottle 50cl. w. swing top.Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090321]

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear dark brown colour, mid-sized head. Malty nose. Medium to full-bodied, intensivela ymlaty with flavours of roasted malts, caramel and shy coffee flavours. Good!

Bottle, 5.4%. Bready aroma. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is mildly bready with a little citrus. OK dusty finish. Clean bitterness.
