Bottle. Nice suprise. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Orange colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Orange notes. Nice well-balanced powerfull bitter flavor. Average nice finish. Oily palate. Good stuf.

Bottled. Clear (as I didn’t pour the sediment) light yellow color, short white head. Aroma is peppery, bit flowery, slight spicy, some wheat, slight grassy hops, some straw, some sugar cane as well like rum. Bit sweet and alcoholic taste, some anis and coriander, some wheat, some apple. Quite unbalanced. Tastes a bit like rum.

Bottle, 6%. The aroma comes off a little teaish and quite spicy. Cloudy yellow colour, small white head. The flavour is also teaish, with coriander and bonbon. Ends with a little yeast note. A little strange, but nice enough. Acorn beer?

Bottle, 6%. Nicely roasted aroma with a hint of cream and fruit. Very dark brown colour, hint of red, seems clear. Small stable light brown head. Coffee flavour, slightly sweet with a little cardboard. Finishes sweet and fruity.

Draught at De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Frothy white good mostly deminsihng head. Dark red amber colour. Powerfull but not alltogether pleasent aroma. Strange soapy/fishy flavor. Slightly acetic. Oily palate.

Bottle from St Albans BF, drunk at home. Hazy pale gold with no real head. A little woody/nutty on aroma, some blond ale notes. Bit of spice from the nuts. It is cetainly a nuttly blond ale. Very different, but good. As Rastacouere says, simple and effective.

Tap, Arendsnest. Clear golden color, short head. Aroma is a bit yeasty and dusty, some citrus, diacetyl, caramel malt. Bit dry taste, caramelly. Bit sticky and sweet. Average.

(Bottle 30 cl) Courtesy of MiP. Comes as "Oitje Lente Kriebel". Completely opaque, unclear pale golden with absolutely no head. Looks like unfiltered apple juice. Fresh and fruity nose with a touch of coriander. Light in body, low in carbonation with rather fresh, fruity accents. No bitterness. An OK summer quencher. 230807

Cloudy blond color; generous creamy head. The aroma is soft, sweet, grassy, with alcohol, flowers. Medium body strength, poor flavor, too much alcohol; too much like… Bière du Demon. Booze.
