Ruby brown color. Flowers, malt, cherry, caramel and red berries in the aroma. Malty, hoppy flavor with laurel and blackcurrant. medium bodied. Hopbitter aftertaste with butterscotch and blackcurrant. Powerful and tasty ale.

Cask at The Kings Arms, Ombersley. Light and fruity beer, surprising given dark colour. easy drinking. grass ending. 16/7/19 ------ Re-rated, same cask at same place. Just felt very bland this time, less smooth. 3.6 to 3.3

500 ml bottle. Clear amber coloured, small head. Malt, lemon, metallic hops, some caramel. Metallic bitterness. Light to medium bodied, watery texture, dry metallic bitter finish, low carbonated. Decent.

Barwa jasnobursztynowa, klarowne, piana biała, dość obfita, umiarkowanie trwała. W aromacie słodowe, lekko tostowe, tytoń. W smaku półwytrawne, nieco podbudowy biszkoptowo-tostowej, sporo nut chmielowych typu tytoń, zioła. Goryczka średnia, delikatnie do wysokiej, nieco zalega, wysycenie i ciało w normie. Dość konkretne i przyjemne.

Many thanks to simontomlinson for this bottle. Nice fresh malty beginning. Moderate bitter, round and malty with a very dry and slightly grainy aftertaste. Smooth, mild and dry bitter.
