On tap at the brewery. Very dark brown deep ruby beer lasting beige head. It’s really well made good chocolate. It’s a decent porter I am guessing with a bottom condition yeast. Decent attempt and good flavours finish is excellent but with this yeast it’s not a porter. Always too watery. But superbly made given the restraints

Bottle at the brewery. Cloudy pale gold lasting white head. Fresh yeasty aroma with esters. Flavour is full. The best weisse so far by quite some way. Some tropical fruit. Don’t know how they do it but one of the best breweries in Franconia. Good weisse. Right mix of hop wheat esters. Really good.

On tap at the brewery. Wow one of the best kellerbier in Franconia. Fresh yeasty aroma then the malt then a lasting white pepper hop. It’s fresh well made outstanding of it’s type. Maybe not quite as good as Roppelts but a damn good kellerbier. Good to

(bottle, purchased at the brewery) Hazy, dark brown colour with a ruby shine and a beige and firm medium-sized foamy head. Pronounced roasty malty aroma with notes of dark powdered chocolate, liquorice and a tinge of mocha, accompanied by subtle fruity notes of blackberries. Moderately roasty bitter flavour with a balanced level of sweetness, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Roasty malty base with present notes of chocolate, liquorice and berries; sweet and mildly roasty bitter finish with notes of chocolate in the aftertaste. Pleasant. 01.XI.13

(draught at the brewery) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Slightly doughy and yeasty pale malty nose with subtle fruity notes, accompanied by hints of grassy and herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Pale malt-character with notes of sour dough and white bread; bitter and delicately sweet malty finish with present notes of grassy hops. Solid Zwickel-Pils, but not really outstanding. 25.X.13

Bottle @ home shared by Dutchdrebus and Thompson. Clear orange color, small off - white head that leaves fair lacing. Not a lot of aroma. Taste lightly malts, lightly hops, lightly a touch of fruits and something weird, though not necessarily bad.

Bottle @ benzai thx to the amazing DutchDrebus. Slightly hazy orange colour with a small off-white head. Smells slightly coffee, malty. Tastes watery, malts, some cardboard. Medium body, soft carbo.
