Cask at the East Dulwich Tavern, London on 12th April 2024. Clear amber with shallow, dull, loose foam and spot lacing. Soft fruits and maltiness in aroma. Citrus, berries and grasses in-mouth, and a bitter finish. Light to medium bodied with an engaging texture.

Cask at The Gregorian, Bermondsey. Aroma is malty, slightly sour. Clear dark brown. Frothy translucent white head. Medium bitter. Grainy. Citrus edge. Develops a malty streak. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. OK.

Handpull cask at the Clapton Hart, Clapton. At 4.2%. Golden and clear, slightly on the light side. Smallish white head with loads of soapy lacing. Harsh citrus in the aroma, hay, woody notes, some astringency.taste has a nice bitterness to it, with intensely bitter hops in the finish. Nice full texture for the style and ABV. Decent enough carbonation. Not as exciting as their session beer but holds its own well enough.

Handpull cask at the Job Centre, Deptford. Brownish gold and clear with a small film of white head. Malty aroma, strong hazelnut and a but of spiced citrus rind. Taste envelops you with sweet nuttiness followed by a decided bitterness. Decent body for the ABV and soft carbonation. A very good ordinary bitter.

Fra cask på The Stapleton Tavern (Finsbury): klar kobbergylden med tett cremeskum helt ned. Myk og behagelig med deilig maltsmak, nystekt brød, urter og barskog. Nydelig og lang ettersmak med fin bitterhet.

Cask @ Mirth, Marvel and Maud, Walthamstow. Golden with a thick frothy head. It has a gritty-hoppy taste in an ale that has a gritty-hoppy taste with a crisp easy strength.

From cask at The Job Centre, Deptford, while waiting for the Jack in the Green parade. Translucent golden. Dense and persistent off-white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of marmalade, meadows, citrus, pale malt and biscuits.
