Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green, 26/10/13. Light black with a moderately sizeable light tan covering. Nose is dark toffee fudge, treacle, dark fruits, bread pudding. Taste comprises dark toffee, cocoa dusting, liqourice, tangy dark fruits, cake mix. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, sweet treacle laced finale. Decent strong mild.

Cask handpull at Lord Moon of the Mall Spoons Whitehall. Pale brown lasting beige head. An ok slightly earthy bitter. Nothing good nothing bad just a run of the mill bitter. Which isn’t very bitter.

Cask at the Ravensbourne Arms, Lewisham. Burnt orange pour with a white head. Marmalade and citrus nose. Lots of bitter-fruit in the taste. Not bad.

Cask at the 2013 Maidenhead Beer Festival. Bright amber with a ring of white head; light malty aroma; soft and fruity taste; with a dry finish with some carmelised nuts. Very drinkable.

Gravity cask at the Wandsworth Common London Beer Festival July 2013 - Le Gothique. Pours clear amber with a light, white foam head. Toasty bready malts abound with touches of ripe citrus fruits. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes sweet and bready with more lightly juicy, ripe orange. Decent.

Cask, gravity dispense. It pours deep brown with a small bubbly beige head. The nose is earth, light roasted malt, coffee grinds, liquorice and faint smoke. The taste is roasty, earth, wood, light spice, toast, cocoa, ash and a touch of alcohol with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body ans soft carbonation. Has a good bite to it. A well-rounded mild.

Cask at the William Webb Ellis (JDW), Twickenham - 02/03/13. Clear golden amber with a bubbly off white head that retains well. Nose is dark malts, fruit, light pastic notes. Taste comprises caramel, sugars, slightly burnt flavours, dark fruits. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, some bitterness in a dry finish. Pretty average fayre.

From cask at Egham 13. Pours clearand golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, hoppy and light citrusy to peachy. Bitter, fruity, peachy to grapefruity. Ends dry and bitter.

Cask at the Bulls Head, Croydon. It pours clear amber with a medium off-white head. The nose is wood, earth, spice and hint of caramel. The taste is wood, leather, earth, some spice, decent bitterness, leaf and just a touch of caramel to balance it out with a long, dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Actually quite lively for cask. A much more accomplished brew than there other first offerings. Well balanced. Good stuff.
