About
An offshoot of the small local pub company of the same name. A small number of trial brews were done at Moor Brewery. The former 10BBL plant from Moor was acquired and full production started in August 2005.

The business was sold by founder Nick Otley in 2016, to a company called All Beer Co, although Companies House reveals no record of such a firm. Eventually brewing ceased in early 2018. Mr Otley retained the company’s pubs which continue to operate.

Bottle at Mason and Taylor. Amber orange coloured, very little head. Aroma is caramelly, quite sweet and boozy. Taste has a slight bitterness but the caramel sweetness comes through. From bottle @ EBF 2008. Dark chocolate and even some porto in the aroma. Thinnish, but firm chocolate flavor. Notes of grapes. Good!

Bottle at home from M and S, 22nd December 18. Pours a clear honey colour. aroma is sweet, honey, coriander, light clove. Taste is refreshing, coriander, some sweetness and spice, light clove, very nice beer.

500ml bottle from M&S Shrewsbury. Pours clear gold, large fluffy white head. Aroma is floral and surprisingly sweet. Seems to have a Belgian influence to the taste, or at least the yeast. Floral flourishes with peppery, clove-like moments. However, does seem perhaps a little old. That said, this is probably my final beer from this brewery having recently gone under, so I will enjoy it all the same.

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Svart. Lavt lysebrunt tett skum. Daler sakte. Aroma av røstet malt. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken skarprøstet malt & tørr sjokolade. Tørr ettersmak. Sjokoladesmaken henger i.

Shared bottle at Øl & Geologi, Norsk geologisk forening Stavanger @ UiS. Pours black With cream coloured head. Aroma of liquorice, dark chocolate, milk, some dark dried fruits. Taste bitter-sweet With some roasted notes. Medium-full bodied, slightly smooth mouth feel.

500ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet City Nord, Bodø. Bubbly, tan-coloured head, clingy lacing, pitch back body. Plain roasted malty nose, mid-dry. Taste of dark chocolate, slightly smoked, added by moments of blackberry. Roasted grainy bitterness to the finish. Fine depth. Decent porter. [ As Otley Inspiration ].
ABV: 5.5%. Unclear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt, nutty, tart - sour - earthy, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, tart - sour - earthy, sweet malt, nutty, earthy. Dodgy condition. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20171014]

Bottle at the IP2 bottle share, from The Breacon Tap, Brecon. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, roasting and vanilla. Medium to heavy sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Medium plus body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.
