bottle part of the mixed 12 pack from the beer store.
clear amber pour, small white head. aroma of cheap grins, and cereals, and some very sweet, bready malts. the maple is nowhere to be found. i think its just adding color. the finish is cloyingly sweet, and really nothing else.

Aroma of cheap, corny sweet malts with some slightly hot, earthy ginger. Finish is dry, and lightly bitter. It’s what I expected, bad.

Clear copper pour, no head. Pale, biscuity malts, the hops are thin, a little pine, seems like extract. Medium bitter finish, pale cheap malts. Calling this an IPA is a joke. English pale or amber at best,

Cloudy copper pour, small underwhelming head. Aroma of cheap malted wheat, wet paper, light yeast and a touch of citrus. Watery mouthfeel, super low carb. The flavour is surprisingly ok, its crisp, and fruity, some nice lemon, and yeasty notes, but the watery mouthfeel hurts it.

On tap at the moose in north bay. Clear dark brown pour, with a tiny white head. Sweet, fake, artificial cocoa aroma, light spice, and sweet butterscotch malts. This isnt totally unpleasant, but whoa is it sweet. I washoping the finish wouldnt reflect the aroma, but its just as sugary and sweet. Not awful but not my bag either.

Sweet corny malts, little to no hops. Astringent bitter finish, corn mash flavor, cooked veggies are evident. Thisis pretty bad.

nice roasty aroma with touches of brown sugar, and some coffee. a smooth creamy mouthfeel, with more roast, and coffee, a nice porter, nothing extraordinary, but solid.

nice dark redish brown color. quite clear. small off white head that dissipates quickly. Slight malt in the aroma, not as much as i expected, its more fruity. Flavour is rich, and full of dark ripe fruit, such as figs, and berries. The malt is there, but not as prominent as you would expect in a doppelbock. A good beer, but not very akin to the style.

Quite pale, with a thin head. Bright. Buttery, with some bitterness. Low malt, kinda thin. Also buttery. Finishes with a herbaceous hop and fucking butter.
