Bottle at the Bräustüberl Zwiesel. Hazy brownish-amber body, chalky white head. Creamy, caramel, banana aroma, light cloves. Creamy, red apple smooth, caramelly taste, lightly tart, low spice. Okay really.

Tried at the source. Light flowery hop nose, spicy caramel. Cloudy amber brown, offwhite cream. Bready spicy, light caramel, a hint acidic, good balance, quite drinkable.

Tap at the Bräustüberl Zwiesel. Clear golden body, medium white head, gone fairly soon. Lightly buttery, lightly herbal aroma. Lean, dry taste, bit citric, quite empty, bit prickly and dry in the finish, but without bitterness, just a bit minerally. Very refreshing, fresh, kinda like it! Though just a bit older, it could be much less impressive.

Tap at Zwiesel. Clear chestnut. Malty, damp. Soft and full, light and creamy. Bread, butter. Like it.

Аромат очень сладкий, много солода, почти ничего более, прямо сладкая кашка из злаков. Цвет чуть темнее чем лагер, пенка неплохая и белая, пышная. Вкус тоже очень легкий и приятный. Снова много сладости, местами кажется что больше чем надо. Но все равно освежает и злаки снова прямо чувствуются. В послевкусие слегка настигает сухость от хмеля но на несколько секунд.

Bottle at Café Brecht, Amsterdam. Caramel malt aroma with nutty notes, toasted malt, some fruity notes, spicy yeast, hint of banana. Fairly sweetish, medium body. Not bad.
