Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, spicies / herbs, light licorice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. On gravity at the Hillgrove Porter Stores, Bristol 7/08/10. Dark, ruddy brown with a decent, off-white head. Caramel, some berry fruit and milky coffee notes, before a decent, dry finish. Good.

From cask. Pours clear and golden deep brown with a small orange glare and an off-white to tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and slight fruity. Fruity and caramelish. Slight bitter.

Cask @ GBBF 2009. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy flavor with hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty hoppy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.
