Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a black color with a medium sized creamy tan head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was strong cocoa and moderate cherry. The flavor was strong dry Bakers chocolate with light notes of cherry, licorice, rum and whipped cream. Long cocoa and rum finish. Fairly full bodied. Excellent.

12 oz bottle. Deep, dark brown color. Small, thin white head. Left little lacing. Aroma of Dark fruit and light malt. Taste is toasted malt with a sweet, light caramel as well. Body is a bit thin. However the higher ABV is hidden well. It’s more then likely the best beer from this brewery, I wasn’t a fan of the others I’ve had. LiteWait shared a bottle with me.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow-straw body with dark sediment, thick, puffy off-white head. Grassy nose with yeast, lemon, and bread. Light body with somewhat faded grassy hops, biscuit, and lemon, somewhat tart, with a bitter, dirty dead yeast finish. Not very good.

Bottle. Cloudy straw-orange body, thick dissipating puffy off-white head. Toasty, biscuity nose with moderate piny, spicy hops bitterness. Light, bready body with faded, slightly bitter hops, and earthy, dirty yeast.

Bottle. I guessed before I poured that the beer would be translucent. Score! Deep translucent garnet body, medium dissipating to thin tan head. Thin, tart nose, mostly cherry skin, perhaps hints of chocolate. Thin, tart, acidic body, with cherry skin and modest dusty, roasty malt, but drinks more like a generic cherry ale than a cherry stout. It’s as if Atwater bottles equal parts beer and water.

12 oz bottle that turns out to accidentally be my 500th rating. Pours black with a large tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate with some sweet cereal: Cocoa Puffs? Flavor has more of a coffee thing going with a little milk chocolate and ashy roastiness and bitterness. Not a particularly interesting imperial stout, really, but decent enough.

Bottle. Deep opaque brown-black body, thick puffy tan head. Nose dominated by cocoa puffs, also featuring vanilla, roasted malts, coffee, and toast. Cocoa notes dominate the body, in addition to vanilla, burnt caramels and toast. Bitter, cocoa finish. Simplistic, insubstantial, and cloying.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear bright yellow with big bright white head. Highly carbonated, very little lacing, and medium body. Taste is light fruity malt and crisp grapefruit hop finish.

0.33L bottle, smallish head that dissapears quite quickly, medium dark brown colour with some reddish hues, flavourfull aroma of chocolate liquor, brown sugar and rum, flavour of light roasted coffee with some vanila and green vegetables, medium to light body, light sweetish coffee aftertaste. Light but quite tasty.

0.33L bottle, meduim stable head with some lacing, hazy lemon yellow colour, aroma of tropical fruits and citrus with something cheesy, grapefruit bitterness and light fruity sweetness. Nice clean fresh lager.
