Description
In 1984, we were the first craft brewers in Ontario. With a dedication to precision, detail and pure ingredients, we were – and still are – making the kind of beer we’d choose to drink ourselves. As Ontario’s first craft brewer, we look back to the past with pride and are excited for the future.

Burnt brown sugar, espresso, light spice, earthy barrel, and wood notes. Calling this an Imperial stout is a joke. A mediocre stout, with flavourings added.

Can from the LCBO. Pours a dark brown, almost black with reddish hues, and a small off white beige head. Aroma is sweet bourbon, hints of spice, and wet cardboard. Mouth feel is thin, carb is very very low. Sweet finish, lightest of roast, astringent fake bourbon, this tastes like homebrew.

Can from the LCBO. Hazy yellow pour, with a small white head. Aroma is ppineapple juice, and nothing else. Mouth feel is flat, feels like a glass of juice. There is nothing in here resenbling beer at all. This is straight up a glass of pineapple juice.

Can from the lcbo. Clear golden pour with a large white head. Aroma is corny, light apple notes with musty, cheap corny cereals. Mouth feel and carb are good. Finish is mealy, light apple notes, wet paper, a tad must, light grass. It's better than I expected from previous Waterloo beers, but it's nothing special.

Can from the lcbo. Dark brown pour with a small off white head. Aroma is sweet roast, light chocolate with some caramel, and sweet malts. Mouth feel is thin, carb is more of the same. Finish is lightly bitter, medium sweet. The caramel mingles well with the chocolate notes, but the salted aspect is completely lost.

Can from the lcbo. Pours a clear amber with reddish hues. Aroma is apple and grape juice. Mouth feel is fine, carb is refreshing. Finish is exactly like juice. Sweet, but not cloying. There are no semblance of beer here. This tastes and drinks exactly like sparkling fruit punch.
