Description
In 1984, we were the first craft brewers in Ontario. With a dedication to precision, detail and pure ingredients, we were – and still are – making the kind of beer we’d choose to drink ourselves. As Ontario’s first craft brewer, we look back to the past with pride and are excited for the future.

Can that pours a clean golden colour with a big creamy warm head, great stay and full creamy lacing. Big berry aromas with what seems like raspberries mostly. The taste is a nice mix of blueberries and raspberries, as what huckleberries should be. Not overly fruity, and definitely not sweet, nor syrupy. Decent mild hops to balance this out. Kind of a nice premium lager with a berry touch. I do like this.

Clean copper colour with a creamy light warm mocha-coloured head, good stay and loads of lacing traces. Maple syrup aromas with the caramel malts and hints of molasses, roasted malts, coffee, vanilla, salt. Not too rich in the flavours, as in syrupy, but maybe a tad for all of the can. Caramel malt taste, slight saltiness and decent hops to balance the finish. Interested dessert beer, but not one to have many.

Can that pours a very pale yellowish colour with a frothy, kind of creamy white head, average stay and some decent creamy lace. Big pineapple nose with juices and candy aromas. The taste is not as sweet as expected, balanced with a little hops to get a little dry, quick finish. Pineapple flavours with hints of coconuts. This is quite refreshing, crisp and should be your thing if you like pineapples with a touch of light lager.

473ml can shared with my wife. Pours a clear straw colour with a medium, fizzy, short lived, white head that fully dissipates. Sweet tropical aroma of pineapple, coconut and sugar. Sweet flavour of apple juice, pineapple juice, sugar and light coconut in a sweet finish. Light body with a sticky, watery texture and average carbonation. Lacks any beer qualities, but it's refreshing, easy to drink and even enjoyable when you're sitting on your deck enjoying the sun.

This porter poured a deep red colour with a creamy, tan coloured head. Medium lacing. Scents include rich caramel toffee. First swig was unbelievably malty. Full of caramel.... and vanilla. Finish is sweet, with nothing but caramel malts lingering forever.

Lots of fresh raspberry but not a lot of outside character, like beer character for example. Pink pour with good head. Sweet and sour end. Can.
