Description
We’ve always relied on our wits to give us an edge. We tried things others wouldn’t and refused to let being smaller keep us from thinking big. To become masters of our craft, we had to be pretty darned crafty. This spirit is at the heart of everything we do—and in every drop we brew.

Pours a medium copper. with a creamy light brown head. The aroma is a combination of a light malt with toasted grain notes. Slightly sugary but couldn't find the maple. Initial tasting found a soft carbonation with a moderate sugar / malt taste. I found it hard to find the maple in this one, but I have tasted it before in this beer. The flavour finish had a moderate sweetness trailing to a almost oily bitter end. Medium bodied finish with a creamy texture...sugary malt.

I dont know who thought of the honey brown concept first, Sleeman or Genesee, but whatever the case, they taste very similar, which is to say, DISGUSTING. I didnt even bother finishing, just poured it out. Stale nasty bitter flavor. Malt liquor flavor abounds, cereal grade malt. Cardboard, tangy sour butter. clear, bubbly, no head. Sour, sharp alcohol and cereal aroma.

I dont know what it is, but I did like this. Lots of sour molasses, some bittersweet caramel malt. Tastes like adjuncts as well, but not terribly so. Interesting light breadiness on the finish. Clear reddish-amber color. small head, alcohol and sweet malt smell. Grainy texture, lightly carbonated.

No head whatsoever. Smells of the tap water i used to clean my glass with damp grass. Taste: Perrier has more taste than this beer....and its cheaper!

Amber in colour with a nice thin off-white head. Sweet aroma with a bit of malt. Medium-bodied; A bit sweet in the taste. Some honey flavour, but not much. Subtle aftertaste, a bit of malt no hops and almost no sweetness. Overall, not a good beer, but that shows some more flavour than the style usually has. Worth trying if you liked Dundee's Honey Brown. I had this 20 ounce pint served via draught at MacGregor's in Rochester, New York.

Very pale with a bleached white head. Little aroma but maybe wheaty, lemony. Light body. Faint wheat note. Bland, with a quick, somewhat wet finish.

Medium brown lager with a subtle taste of honey. Regular head for that type of lager. Probably the best product from Sleeman but I still don't approve of the clear bottle.

Very pale brew with almost no head. Real watery taste. You might as well be drinking tonic. Will never drink this again...

Had a 12 pack of this in bottles. I was impressed. For a regular lager, this was decent stuff. Had an apparent malt sweetness to the body that was pronounced due to some alcohol flavors. There were some stale hops flavors throughout that detracted from the flavor and the finish was a bit dry and stale. Overall not as watery as many standard lagers, has some spice and an interesting medium dry, medium acidic fruit taste at the beginning. Wasnt terribly carbonated either in the bottle

Gold with no head. Rather sweet, very noticable corn flavor with a mild alcohol bite Just be sure it has ice crystals in in when consuming
