Tap at Yellow APe. Estery nose, peaches, honey. Very bitter, estery flavor, peaches and orange and some diacetyl which came out more and more as it warmed. Ok at first, started to fade, and a bit directionless.

On tap as part of a tasting set at Rokko Beer Dinner, 1500 yen for 8 small glasses. Both this and the Ikigari Nami pilsner were ridiculously pale gold, too pale for my taste. This had a thinner more evenly filmy head of foam. The aroma is grassy, slightly bitter with a yeasty sweet taste, hints of carboard but overall not too bad.

On tap as part of a tasting set at Rokko Beer Dinner, 1500 yen for 8 small glasses. Both this and the regular pilsner were ridiculously pale gold, too pale for my taste. It had a slightly thicker & creamier head of foam than the regular pils, the aroma was a clean hoppy bitterness with the taste being hoppy with slight pine but fairly clean bitterness. I liked this better than the normal pils but my friend felt it was too hoppy.

330ml Bottle - Hazy golden with a foamy white head. Lime, grass and grain the aroma. Fairly refreshing taste with notes of lemon and malt standing out.

Draught at the Diner. Nice, deep golden color with a tall, fine head that quickly drops to lace. Nice nose of lemon, orange, grass. Sweet, fruity well hoppy flavor. Very bitter, and just a tad astringent. Very nice, though not perfect.

White Madros: 5% at Rokko Beer Dinner. Classic weizen aroma with grape notes & spices. Much better than their last weizen at Rokko Garden! A very light cloudy straw gold pour with a thick white head. Good mouthfeel, sweet, spicy with some fruity bubblegum flavors. Very nice, my wife loved it.

On tap at the GJBF Osaka. A classic dark brown pour with a minimal beige head. It has a roast chocolate/coffee aroma. It has a thin body but is an easy drinking bitter roast coffee with hints of chocolate in the flavor.

A bit bitter but a clear easy drinking IPA. Not super hopped, kind of one dimensional but nice & easy to drink. This was their first batch of this IPA and I quite liked it.

Bottle - Hazy brown in colour. Dried fruit, spicy malt and marzipan in the aroma. Tangy, fruity and malty taste with raisins, marzipan and fruitcake. Not bad at all, but definitely not an IPA.

On tap at Rokko Beer Diner. It poured a cloudy reddish brown. The aroma was quite slight and the flavor was a nice maltiness at the back of the mouth followed by some hop bitterness. It is pretty good but not so complex, pleasant. I want to try their regular IPA when I have the chance...
