Bottle: Hazy, chestnut-amber coloured, big - slowly collapsing - fluffy beige head; caramelly-toasty nose with a subtle fruitiness and a distinctive acidity in the background; moderate to robust sweet-bitter flavour, accompanied by a light acidity, medium bodied; vinous notes and a tinge of alcohol in the drier sweet-toasty finish, followed by a bitter aftertaste. Not bad, but not well rounded...........

draft at Arendsnest in Amsterdam - Pours hazy orange with a one finger lingering white head. It has a very herbal malt aroma. The taste is sweet malt with citrus and herbal notes and some mild hpos. Itβs medium bodied and has a pleasant, fine carbonation. This beer is tasty and easily quaffed.

On tap. Pours a slightly cloudy gold w/ a white head. The aroma has sweet notes of fruits and a touch of alcohol. Flavor is sweet throughout, never really seems like an 9.6% beer.

On tap at CafΓ© Gollem, what a surprise to find this beer! Hazy golden orange colour, thick white head. Aroma of sweet malts, hay, some orange, yeast. Flavour is soft and sweet, very malty, fruity, but also rather hoppy and dry, leading to a good bitter refreshing finish. Medium to fullbodied, smooth mouthfeel. Reminded me of a good Kellerbier. I could drink this all night.

On tap at In de Wildeman. Hazy yellow colour, creamy white head. Aroma is slightly sweet, honey & lemon, malts, some yeast and grass. Flavour is sharp, cardboard bitterness, grain, citrus, honey, yeast, a little sweet with a dry bitter finish. Quite a lot of carbonation. There was a certain awkward flavour (I called it cardboard, but thatβs not quite it) that I didnβt really like in this one.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a large white head and a TON of sediment floating around - nice! Aroma of yeast, wheat, curacao, coriander seed and a bit of lemons. Light-bodied; Sharp malty flavour with a touch of yeast coupled with some citrus fruits, wheat and some sugars. Aftertaste, malty and yeastie with a bit of citrus roaming through. Overall, a decent beer - not amazing, but definitely nice to sample! I sampled this 500 mL bottle purchased from BioMarkt in Amsterdam, Holland on 27-December-2007, sampled at home in Washington on 27-January-2009.
