Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, oats, mild roast, lactose, cocoa, milk chocolate, touch of raisins, candy sugar and creamed coffee. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is above medium, a tad creamy. Nice Imperial Oatmeal/Milk Stout with notes of Quadrupel, lots of oats, mik chocolate and lactose. A sweet breakfast.

From tap at De Prael, Amsterdam. Appears a cloudy murky orange with a thin white head. Biscuity malty aroma with soft hoppy notes, mildly candied fruits, and some light metallic notes. Moderate sweet with a medium bitter finish. Body is medium. Lacking a hoppy character, this is not much of an IPA, I’m gonna be generous and call this an unremarkable but drinkable beer.

Small bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is dark malt, caramel, some cocoa, raisins, iron, mild powdery chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is light to medium with some very annoying carbonation. I was expecting way more chocolate, it lacks a lactose creaminess, I’m afraid this poor beer is only a fart in the face of the chocolate milk stout potential.

Bottle from a local supermarket. As De Prael New England Style I.P.A.. No sign of this being a collaboration brew. Aroma is modestly fruity hops with orange, malt, bread, some caramel, and a hint of soap. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium. Drinkable but a bit weird and messy, as expected from De Prael frankly. Has nothing to do with New England besides the hazy appearance.
