Finally I get to open this one! Had high hopes, and they mostly paid off. Big amount of blackcurrants indeed, together with some soft oakyness. Pretty sweet, not as jammy as your average Schramms, but nicely tasty. Great fruit.

Appearance: Dark red colour with a minimal head.
Aroma: Honey, cinnamon, blackberries, currants, spices.
Body: Full body, flat carbonation.
Flavour: Honey, spices, cinnamon, currants, blackberries, maples, marshmallow.
EB. Another mead that comes off as quite dry. Acidity is a bit volatile but the berry profile is really damn good. Solid supporting honey base. Tasty!

Erg fruitig, rood fruit, bessen, honing zoetig, maar allemaal wel wat dunnetjes voor een mead, maar niet verkeerd

Thanks RandomStrangerNL. Beautiful red, no head. Very sweet honey, lots and lots of red fruit, berries. Some cherry bubblegum. Massive sweet with sour counterpart. Crazy tasty.

Sampled. Almost clear deep red. Lots of tart berries, flowery honey, tart red berries, light fermentation notes. Medium sweet, almost medium sour. Full bodied. Really really good.

Fles #3/12, redelijk zoet, mega fruitig, iets scherp, ok/ish , het mist wat balans, gewoon wat té overdreven fruitig..maple... nee gemist dan.. bourbon evenzo... maar iig bedankt voor het proberen Robert

Dark red with no head. Aroma of floral honey, red berries, blackberries and blackcurrent. Flavour is heavy sweet and above light sour from the fruits. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Deep purple with no head. Aroma of big blackcurrent, really fruity with floral honey. Flavour is heavy sweet with light tartness from the blackcurrants. Full bodied with alcohol warmth in the finish and soft carbonation.
