Pours dark pruple, scent is full, coffee. taste is full, coffee, red berries. Coffee, bit bitternes. Medium fruit acidity and a strong honey sweetness. Not a big fan of the coffee, but certainly a good, even great mead behind it.

Pours purple, towards black. Scent is full, intense berry. Taste is full, intense berry sweetness. Quite boozy, but lovely nevertheless. The exact right amount of acidity over the intense sweetness. Lovely !

Pours dark purple. Scent is intense, fruit juice purity. Taste is smooth, intense purity, full on blackcurrent. Sweet, but balanced by the acidity. Lovely !

Draught Deep cardinal to purple liquid. Vinous, concentrated berries, with a hint at (not really there) acidity. Complex beyond reckoning. Very sweet in the mouth, sticky - honeyish, but again, mainly berries (concentrated). Feels sticky, and yet it does not cloy. The way (very) sweet can be complex and lovely.
