Description
The Virginia Beer Company is a brewery + taproom + beer garden in Williamsburg, VA. The brewery was founded in 2016 by two graduates of nearby William & Mary, who were joined by a brewmaster out of SweetWater Brewing in Atlanta. Four year-round beers are complemented by a boundary-pushing rotation of limited edition beers including Experimental IPA's, Barrel-Fermented Brett Saisons, and Barrel-Aged Imperial Stouts, among many other diverse styles.

Pretty cloudy dark blond beer, big dense creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some patches of lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty fruity, bit resinous, little malty, spicy touch, dusty impression. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, malty, nice bitterness, little soapy, very resinous hops, some tropical fruits, grapefruit, some orange peel. Aftertaste: slightly oxidized, very bitter, dry, resinous, piny, some grapefruit, orange peel, honey touch, overripe fruits.

Can @ Saxo tasting. Almost black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and light coffee. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 230719

Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter coffee flavor. Average light bitter finish. oily palate.

Can. Small head with short duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel, licorice, hops and has a nice roasty licorice finish.

Tap at The Hague Craft festival. Hazy bright yellow golden with white head. Sweet malts, peach, pineapple, berries, dank weedy hops. Solid medium sweet and bitter. Bit over medium bodied.

Hazy pale blond colour with lasting head . Aroma and flavour have a lot of fresh hop notes. Both fruity and earthy. Very hoppy but not overly bitter.

Orange gold pour. Nice lace around rim. Tastes of oranges and tangerine. Sweet with a subtle orange/wheat on palate
