The Aromas are strawberry salad vinegar with hints of evergreen forest. Flavors aren't all that good. There is some tart strawberries with some other flavors that I can't quite place, mint sort of combined with pine needles Maybe. Disappointing. Sounded good but....

500ml bottle from Melvins, Sisters. Shared with Soph while watching bald eagles at Three Creeks Lake, Sisters, Oregon. Drunk from the bottle. Aroma is medium sweet apple fruit, apple core. Crisp, medium character, some apple skin, hay.. nicely rounded and drinkable, moderately sweet but not too much character to set it apart.

500ml bottle from Melvins, Sisters, Oregon. Pours clear gold, medium sweet apple fruit on the nose. Taste is generally clean, low tannin with a crisp medium sweet character, fruity, straw, but not a huge amount of character in terms of the apple used but good drinkability.

Bottle sampled at Cider festival. Clear light golden with no real head. Dry apple, funky, light mineral, dry apple peel. Light sour and bitter, very light sweet. Almost medium bodied and medium dry. Nice.

Bottle sampled at Cider festival. Slight hazy yellow with no real head. Tart apple, soft plums, light berries, light funk and mineral. Over light sweet and sour. Light bitter. Medium bodied.

International Cider Festival 2019. Bottle. Clear rusty red and some bubbles. Light sweet and sour elderberries on top of very dry pear. Sweet berry lemonade mixed with very dry perry. International Cider Festival 2019. Golden with bubbles. Light sweet and sour, somewhat herbal. Rustic and rusty funk. Moderate sweet and bitter. Woody and dry, tart. Medium body and soft carbonation. Nice. (6/8/7/6/9) ///// Bottle at home, 2nd day of Xmas. Bought at forementioned festival. Sour, light sweet and quite bitter apples. Quite possible some hard pears too. Limey citrus notes, almond notes, floral blossomy notes, soft vanilla notes, woody oaky barrel notes. Moderate sweet, mild sour from fruit and oak and quite bitter. Rich in aroma and nice complexity. Packaged in one of the most carefully designed bottles I’ve ever held. Very nice.
