500ml clear bottle from Press online. Pint glass @home. Clear, oily, dull, medium gold, spirited pour. Super sharp & floral nose. Like a sour-smelling quince. Sharp, tart, rose-y floral, mellow cider vinegar, grape but low tannin, glue; Sidra adjacent. Finish is a touch salty. Half crispy, thin with some buttery texture. Okay.

Clear 500ml from Press. Last bottle was hand bottled, had an indent. This one looks clean. Cloudy, honey, weak head pour into a pint glass @home. Best nose in the last batch of quince. Onion, some lime, mellow rose(usually lots more), gum, sour candy, potent black pepper. Candle worthy nose. Bitter-tart apples, lime, leafy greens, weak but lingering onion, a soft & appetizing yellow cake sweetness & accompanying vanilla. First gentle quince, like ever. Twinge of vinegar & basic gum on the tail. Juicy, low carb, simmering pot of half tart, mellow acid, soupy neanderthal juice. Cool.

Online bottle from Press. Relegated to the pit of apple cider - flavored due to the lack of apple advertisement on the listing... Pint glass @home. Fainlty hazy, but still see through, pale yellow gold. Whatevs sort of lingering default froth. Onion-rose-elderflower, but mostly quince specific nose. Thin, oily & pungent red onion. I need a deli sandwich STAT. Soft background sweetness from bittersweet apples. Delicate elderflower that really doesn't do much but deepen the floral note, as quince already has a heavy rose/berry base. Actually, it give some grape astringency, cool. Slight celery vegginess. If you like onion hazy IPAs, you will love this. Trash apple. Finish has some dried fruit sulfites. It's actually thinner & less rich than a straight quince drink. Sparkly is a win. Okay to good.

On tap at Schilling Cider House - Portland, a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light funk, mustiness, and crisp apple skins. Flavour is dry and pleasantly wild, with a nice funky wild character, bone dry apple skins, and a hint of champagne-like effervescence. Not the most complex, but the dry, wild character is pleasant. Good stuff.

On tap at Away Days, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Nose is loaded with overripe apple skins, apple core, and a hint of wild character. Flavour is much the same, with intense apple core and overripe apple skins. The apple core is almost rotting—that's not so pleasant. The wild character is kind of lost behind the apple core. Good attempt but not so convincing output.

On tap at Schilling Cider House - Seattle, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma is full of subtle oak barrels, gentle cherry and a touch of acidity. Flavour is bone dry, with tannic port barrels, dry cherries, and light acidity. Quite a dry one, with a tannic, oaky finish. Good stuff.

Fun! Wild cider, missing some carb but that comes with the style I guess, wax was an adventure to remove too. Was light and dry, slightly funky.
