Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 09/07/22. Golden to light amber pour with a just off white cap that thins to spotting. Nose is red apple, grape, vinous, grass, bitter sweet aromas. Taste comprises mellow red wine barrel, apple skins, orchard wood, tannins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Decent flavoursome cider.

Tap at Rad van Wageningen. Color: Hazy amber, off-white head. Aroma: Hoppy, very subtle fruity. Taste: Hoppy, floral and bit grassy. Pear peel, dry finish. Hints of tannins. More beer than pear cider. Nice dry bitterness.

Bottle. Color: Hazy pale golden, fast diminishing white head. Aroma: Wild yeast funk, wood, apple. Taste: Farmyard wild yeast funk, wood, apple, very subtle hoppy background. Fruity and a little floral. Just under medium body, average carbonation. Light to moderate tart, very light sweetness and almost no bitterness. A lot less hoppy than the Tegendraads collab they made at Nevel unfortunately. Still nice.

Unclear pale golden with no lasting head. Meally and tart, apple and wheat, light vinegar, hops, citrus, lemonrind. Thank god this is only mildly sour — keeps it quite pleasant. Low carb. Wild & experimental. But ok.

Pale blond and hazy with no head. The apple tree is on fire! Smoky and earthy elements from the whisky combine well with the apples. Leathery. Dry. Slight note of charcoal in the aftertaste.
