Bottle: Poured a clear medium brown color ale with a huge bubbly slightly off-white head with average retention. Carbonation is quite low and body is a bit thin. Aroma of caramel malt is easily identifiable and quite enjoyable. Taste is also dominated by quite sweet caramel malt with a very subtle bitter ending. Again, the fresher the sample the better this is since it seems to be declining quite rapidly once it hit the shelves.

Ambr orange ale with a light off white head. Wet straw aroma with cranberries. In mouth, like a sweet lager, with light fruity notes. More like a Vienna in mouth. Overcarbonated, unbalanced and way off style. Tasted 28/01/05 at Institut Scotch Ale tasting.

Bottle: Poured a clear yellow color lager with a nice bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of crisp hops is clearly identifiable and enjoyable. Taste is light and refreshing with a solid malt backbone for the style and fresh crisp hops at the end. Above average for the style and glad I got the chance to try this one fresh.

[Vintage 2001, Sampled 2005] An unclear amber beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits as well as some yeast. The flavor contains notes of prunes, and over ripe fruits, and with a dry slightly roasted end. The mouthfeel is very carbonated.
