Had this at a sidewalk cafe in Montreal. My wife liked it better than I did. Not a bad beer by any means, but a bit light on flavor and the aroma wasn’t particularly memorable.

Bouteille 660ml. De couleur cuivrée et claire. Nez de grains de malt aux petites notes rôties, léger de caramel et de houblon herbeux (gazon) avec des notes de sucre brun et des traces de bois et d’alcool. Moyenne-ronde en bouche avec un pétillement bas-moyen et une texture moyennement huileuse. Goût de grains de malt sucrés accompagné de faibles notes boisées (bois sec, traces de fût de chêne) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un moyen-léger goût de caramel toffee sucré avec des traces de sucre brun et de biscuit à la mélasse. Parallèlement, l’on retrouve un moyenne-légère amertume d’alcool doux jusqu’en finale accompagné d’un goût de houblon herbeux asséchant (foin et herbes mouillées) aux petites notes florales. Post-goût moyen et un peu sec, moyen-léger amer de houblon herbeux avec un léger goût d’alcool et de faibles notes de rôti et boisées.

Aroma is moderate malty, buckwheat, spicy, fruity - apricot, coriander. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081214]

A dark clear brown lager with a thick moka head. A pungeant moka aroma, nutty and grainy. In mouth, a grainy malty lager. Medium bodied. Tasted Feb. 14 2009. Bought at Jovi.

Very hazy orange colored body with a very thin white head. Aroma of curacao, coriander seed, apricots and alcohol. Light-bodied; strong taste with malt, apricots and bananas up front fading to nothing. After taste is completly bland - nothing of the taste shows up at all. Overall an odd beer, it starts strong then ends bland. Not really worth trying but this one is good to try from Montreal. I sampled this 340 ml bottle purchased from a small convenience cneter off of Laurier in Montreal, Quebec CA on 28-May-2006.

Very hazy golden coloured body with a ton of bubbles and a thin white head. Aroma of strong wheat and yeast with a little lemon scent too. Full-bodied; Strong spicey flavour with a good wheat taste. Aftertaste very strong and leaves the palate nice. Overall, a good beer - definitely worth trying if you can find it. I brought this one back from Montreal on a recent trip up there...hopefully it can be found in other places too though. A clear reddish brown lager with a thick light moka head. Very sweet aroma of brown sugar and vanilla, with gin alcohol.. In mouth, a sweetish oily bock, with light nuttiness, very short in mouth...medium bodied. Ho hum beer for the style.
