Bottle. Looks like a standard pils. Flavour has a little more sweetness than standard pils and a clear flavour of bog myrtle.

Draught. Very fruity and malty aroma. Red/chestnut colour. Big, very creamy head which is light brown. Flavour is dominated by aroma hops and has a nice sweetness. The aftertaste is long and bitter with a hint of astringency. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, a bit thick. 8 4 8 4 16

A hazy red beer with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of berries (cowberries), but also with notes of toffee. The flavor is very powerful and is sweet and again dominated by cowberries, until a dry woody end sets in.

Thanks to Madsberg for sending this gem my way! Dark brown and totally opaque liquid fills the glass under a tall head of mocha brown. I think the head is thick enough to hold up a cherry! It clings to the sides of the glass ans it slowly eases it’s way down. Even when cold, this gives off lots of coffee and chocolate aromas. Maybe some smokeyness as well. The flavor is burnt marshmallows on the front and some sweetness towards the end. The delivery is full bodied and smooth. Very nice. Skål!

Golden, slightly cloudy, with a small head. Very nice malt aroma with a hint of hay, but the flavour becomes a little too sweet and malt-dominated, almost bread-like. Good for a bock I guess, but that isn’t my style.

Bottle. Very metallic aroma. Golden colour with big, unstable white head. Flavour starts off with a little caramel, turning watery and finally peppery. Quite smooth. Nothing wrong with this beer, just not very interesting. Better than most Danish pils, worse than most Czech.

Bottle. Malty and creamy aroma. Light yellow colour, semi-creamy, big, stable white head. Not very carbonated for a pilsner giving it a nice creamy mouthfeel. Mild flavour with a little hop aroma. Not very bitter. A little more hop flavour and bitterness, and this could have been brilliant.

Bottle. Malty, sour aroma. Not so nice, light brown colour. Unstable white head. Flavour is quite dry with some sourness and smokiness. Aftertaste is slightly sour. Not as sour as it may sound, it is actually quite well-balanced, but not very interesting.
